Opportunities

Our Care Staff help clients to remain independent in their own homes.

The tasks we assist them with range from home help and companionship to personal care:

1. Visits to clients vary in length from 30 minutes upwards, but are generally about an hour long.  A typical day for a client would begin around 7am with assistance to get up, wash, dress and prepare breakfast. Help with toileting may be required.
2. Meal times can be difficult for many of our clients, so the preparation of a meal and drink, as well as general household tasks, may be needed.
3. Sometimes clients like to be accompanied on an outing, perhaps for shopping or to attend an appointment.
4. Evenings are also a busy time for us, as many clients need help to get ready for bed and to ensure their home is secure for the night.

Because of the needs of our valued clients, we require carers who are flexible and able to work mornings and/or evenings, as well as some weekend work.

Carers must also have the use of a car for which they are appropriately insured and hold a valid driving licence.  

Whilst previous experience is helpful, it is not essential.
