A note from Ann and Alison

2010 is now well underway with lots of new exciting company developments. Firstly, we are proud to announce that our new updated website has gone live and it offers an interesting mix of useful information, regular news items and testimonials from satisfied clients. There are links to our on-line shop, an application form for those interested in joining our team, as well as items about our individual offices in Scarborough, Beverley and York.  Please have a look a www.ihl.uk.com and see for yourself — remember you can increase the size of the font by clicking on ‘view’ in your toolbar. 

However, as IHL continues its solid development, the new website will have to be updated very soon as the company is due to open its 4th office in Wetherby sometime in April.  It is the company’s aim that, once a Manager has been appointed, recruitment will begin with a view to serving an area covering Harrogate, its surrounding villages and Wetherby itself. 

Above all, we aim to continue to provide care of the highest standard, tailored to individual needs, whilst offering flexibility and continuity of care to our valued clients

Since our last Newsletter, IHL have not only achieved the 'two ticks - Positive About Disability' award in recognition of their active recruitment of those with disabilities but also appeared in the Scarborough Evening News pictured presenting the Stroke Club with a cheque in lieu of the expense of Christmas cards to all its Scarborough and district clients. It is hoped this will enable the members of the Club to enjoy an outing.

It has been a difficult winter for our dedicated team of carers who have had to contend with some dreadful road conditions whilst trying to continue to be punctual!  I'm sure you will join us in thanking everyone for their efforts of the past weeks, both care staff and the admin team working behind the scenes to ensure an efficient and smoothly run service! Won’t it be nice when the spring flowers emerge?!
