All our carers are fully trained in personal care, health and safety, helping clients to move about confidently and the use of hoists. Many have chosen to enhance their skills by achieving vocational qualifications in social care.
All our care workers are employed by IHL and have undergone Criminal Records checks to ensure their suitability.
Independent Home Living have branch offices in Scarborough, York and Beverley, each having their own dedicated Branch Manager and Admin Team, this ensures your phone call will always be answered personally.
With the branch offices working so closely together and overseen by the General Manager, a consistently high level of care can be provided.

As Independent Home Living want to be certain the care provided meets the highest standards and all the varied requirements of clients, our Care Liaison Manager and her assistant will carry out detailed initial Care Planning to ensure all needs are met.
Further regular visits will take place to review any changing care needs and to provide that all-important link with your Independent Home Living office.
The Care Liaison team also provide valuable support for our carers whilst they are working. Their warm, but efficient approach helps to reassure families that they are receiving the very best in Domiciliary Care.
